Leslie (Les) Ray Abell, age 53, of Lowell,IN; passed away with his loved one by his side on February 14, 2024.
Born to Norman and Wanda Abell on October 25, 1970.
Les and his family enjoyed camping and frequented Blue Grass Festivals, where Norm played the Mandolin.
In his youth, he enjoyed playing baseball, fishing, wrenching on cars, and hanging with his many friends. He was also an artist who had the talent to work with any medium.
Graduating from North Newton Class of 1989, Les was a fiercely loyal and protective friend.
He met his wife, Julie and they were married on November 17, 2011. They enjoyed the combination of their blended family.
Preceded in death by his father, Norman Abell and sister, Sherry. He is survived by his mother,Wanda Abell, brother Keith Abell; loving wife Julie Abell (Cavanaugh); daughters Katie McKinney (Tyler) and Sheridan Abell; son Preston Abell (Elle); and 3 beloved grandchildren. Each brought Les much joy in their unique personalities and interests and will be greatly missed.
